FIELD TRIPS

When a field trip is planned a note and permission slip are sent home to explain the nature of the trip and the details. The slip has to be signed and returned to the center before a child is allowed to go on the trip. Proper child-teacher ratios are maintained during the trip as they are at the center.

For insurance purposes children under the age of three cannot ride the bus on field trips.

Happy Day Child Care has fun and exciting field trips each month.

Here are some of our favorite field trips:

Visiting the zoo and to the Humane Society.

Going to Albertsons and Fred Meyers.
They take us through the bakery, the meat department and the produce section.
We end our trip with a visit to the delicatessen.

Also, bumper bowling, learning to make Pizza at Papa's Pizza and doughnuts at Krispie Kreme Donuts.

Or, listening to stories at the library and afterwards checking out our favorite book to take back to the school!
